Open roles
Consulting, AI, security, quality and release: at gridz you take responsibility for solutions that matter to Swiss companies. Your voice carries weight and the path to a decision is short. Hybrid across Switzerland.

Frontend Engineer Vue
You build the interface people work in all day: Vue 3, TypeScript and microfrontends – close to the people who process their cases with it.
Why this role matters
Line-of-business applications are not looked at, they are used – eight hours a day, by people who know their job and have no patience for detours. A form with forty fields that is genuinely easy to operate saves more time in total than most automation projects. That is exactly what you work on: existing Vue 3 interfaces that keep growing, and new modules that fit in cleanly.
Your mission
You make sure the interface follows the work rather than the data structure: comprehensible flows, reliable states, proper error messages. What you build fits into an existing landscape and stays maintainable, even when another team delivers the next module.
What you will do
- Build interfaces: Vue 3 with the Composition API and TypeScript – components someone still understands in six months
- Develop what exists: maintain and extend current Vue 3 frontends, and clean up where it pays off
- Work in the microfrontend pattern: cut modules so they stand on their own and still fit together
- Shape the interfaces: agree API contracts together with the backend instead of accepting whatever is delivered
- Take usability seriously: forms, tables and searches that cope with real data volumes – including keyboard operation and accessibility
- Secure quality: automated tests for components and flows, code reviews, GitLab pipelines
- Chase the errors: work out what really happened in the user’s browser instead of guessing
- Record the decisions: tasks and decisions in Jira, Confluence and the repository documentation
Your profile
Must have
- Experience in frontend development with Vue or a comparable framework – from your studies, your own projects or your first years at work
- JavaScript and TypeScript are solid, CSS is not a guessing game for you
- You have taken over something somebody else wrote and left it better
- You ask when a requirement is unclear – including of people who are not developers
- Care for the details users notice: loading states, error messages, keyboard operation
- Very good written and spoken German
Nice to have
- Vue 3 with the Composition API and Pinia in production use
- Experience with microfrontends or a component library shared across teams
- Accessibility to WCAG, particularly in regulated environments
- Automated interface testing
- Domain understanding from health insurance or another regulated industry
What you can expect
- Real responsibility from day one – you own your modules instead of just supporting them
- Someone looks at your code – reviews as craft, not as control
- A direct line instead of hierarchy – short paths, fast decisions, clear contacts
- Demanding projects in banking, insurance, healthcare, telecommunications and the public sector
- Training & certifications – we invest deliberately in your know-how
How we work
Hybrid: your on-site days take place at the client in Zurich, development happens wherever you work best. Our office is in Meggen near Lucerne. 80–100 %, starting immediately.
Applying
Send us your CV or a short profile to hello@gridz.ch. We do not need a motivation letter – show us something you have built instead. A link is enough, and an unfinished project is no problem.
What does the process look like?
A short introductory conversation, then a technical discussion around a concrete interface from our daily work. Since the start date is immediate, we decide quickly.
